Delete your account and data
Last updated 9 August 2026
PhotoPortal gives you full control over your personal data. In line with Google Play’s Data safety policy and Apple’s App Store guidelines, you can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time — without needing to sign in.
Fastest method: delete it in the app
If you can still sign in, you can delete your account instantly and no email is needed:
PhotoPortal → your profile or account settings → Delete Account
The options on this page are for anyone who can no longer access the app or their account.
What is deleted, and what is kept
Deleted
- Your login and profile information — name, email, phone, profile photo.
- Your personal content — uploaded photographs, moodboards, saved items — and your app preferences.
Kept, with your personal details removed
- Booking, invoice and payment records are retained in anonymised form, as required for financial and legal record-keeping.
- If you are a photographer, your clients are notified to download their delivered galleries. Those galleries are kept for 30 days and then permanently removed.
- Data may persist in secure backups for a short period — up to about 14 days — before being overwritten.
Request deletion
Fill this in and we will open a pre-filled email for you to send from your own mail app. Sending it from the address on the account is how we verify the request is really yours. Our team verifies and processes requests within 7 business days.
Or email us directly
If you would rather write the email yourself, send it to privacy@photoportal.app using this template:
